Most people see a crown of thorns and think of suffering. And they're right. It was meant to be humiliating. The soldiers who placed it on His head didn't do it out of reverence. They did it to mock Him.
But that's exactly what makes it so powerful.
What was meant to be a symbol of shame became the most recognized symbol of sacrifice in all of human history. He wore that crown without breaking. He endured it without bitterness. And three days later, He rose.
